A published series, Acedia is a visual exploration of the emotions derived from our consecutive lock-downs. The frames aim to evoke an uncomfortable but enticing sensation from the viewer, akin to the effect of our shared social isolation: desolate and hopeless yet somehow feeling like an escape from our curated existence. The style’s usage is intended to emulate that experience rather than to document the physical actuality of our current events.
